Gossafin
(goss-ah-fin / goss-ah-fins)
Gossafins, residing deep under the water's surface, are generally playful and mischievous creatures. With long powerful fish tails, and fins along their forearms, they easily traverse their home planets through the multiple oceans and seas. A known trait of Gossafins is that parts of their body, usually their tails and/or arms, become translucent when wet. This gives parts of their body a glass-like, fullg see-through appearance while submerged in their natural habitat. This natural phenomenon helps them with hunting food and camoflaging to hide from predators. However when a Gossafin dries off on land, their body becomes completely opaque and reveals beautiful colourage. Gossafins have been known to be hunted by other fae throughout history specifically for their tails. When dried, Gossafin tails can be sold on the black market to "fin collectors" that treat the tails as works of art to be collected. Due to being hunted over the centuries, it has become rare for Gossafins to venture on land; let alone be out of water long enough to dry off.
